Chelsea Clock Co., Boston, Mass., "Ship's Strike" wall clock, retailed by Negus, New York for the ship "PENGUIN", 8 day, time and ship's bell strike, spring driven movement in a round brass case with 8 inch silvered metal dial accompanied by bench made wooden stand, serial #605321
CONDITION:
the dial has some tarnishing and oxidaton around "PEGUIN ". The lever responsible for the ship's bell strike routine has had some lead solder applied to it as a counter weight. One dial screw is a replacement.
